A Game for Everyone
Women’s Golf
TWGA is dedicated to providing a friendly, welcoming environment for women members interested in playing 18 holes of golf, learning more about the game of golf, and playing organized games in a fun environment. We enjoy the game and we enjoy each other!
TWGA has always been unique from other women’s golf club organizations:
- TWGA has always had prime morning tee times on both Thursday and Saturday reserved for play. Start time is 8:30am.
- Play in events is allowed from either the red or green tees.
- A “field day” occurs each month, allowing your guests to participate in the game of the day at a special reduced green fee.
Each play day is organized to provide the easiest experience to participate. Just sign up and foursomes are built for you that encourage you to meet and play with all members and all levels of players. Your guests are welcome anytime to play with you. Many of the ladies stay for lunch to socialize, but this is not required. And prizes at the end of the season reward participation and performance.
Each season, there are some long standing, organized tournaments that reward net play. The Presidents Cup is an individual event, the Member is a two-person team event, and the Solheim Cup is a full-team event. Each Holiday season, TWGA hosts an 18-hole, par-3 team scramble event that includes the Lady Niners and past members of TWGA.
